Tony Boreham and Kevin Taylor took the next two for Wethersfield, but the Retreat secured singles and overall honours with wins for Steve O'Neil and Simon Twin.

Wethersfield Raiders started strongly with a 3-0 pairs win against Eagle A, who hit back with a triples success only for Rob Camp to increased the Raiders' lead in the opening singles.

Kelvin Byrne and Paul Little put the Eagle back on level match terms and Kevin Byrne took the fifth singles, but wins for Brendan Hand, Phil Hulme and Andi Thomas saw the singles and match points go to Wethersfield.

Braintree Football Club won the pairs 2-1 but lost the triples at Eagle B, before Mark Fletchers and Ash Gibsons increased the hosts' advantage in the singles.

Richard Chandler's win put the Eagle just one win away from singles success, but Matt Baker, Nicky Bewick, Alan Dewar and Lynn Kelly wrapped up singles and match honours for the Football Club.
