Division Two saw 7-2 and 5-4 triumphs for Dedham A over Colchester Officers’ Club C and Frinton B.
Division Four winners Wivenhoe B earned comfortable 7-2 and 9-0 wins at Frinton C and East Bergholt while Wivenhoe’s C team were beaten at Colchester Officers’ Club D and Kirby C, in Division Five.
Frinton A produced an excellent winning run in the Ladies’ Premier Division, as comprehensive 9-0 and 8-1 triumphs over Kirby A preceded a close-fought 5½-3½ triumph at Lexden Hill A.
Division Two saw several tight scraps involving East Bergholt; 5-4 successes at home to Lexden R&F C and Spring Lane A sandwiched a 5½-3½ loss at Lexden Hill B.
Division Four leaders Little Clacton powered to a 9-0 home victory over Dedham B while Division Five table-toppers Frinton C produced an outstanding 9-0 home victory over Spring Lane D, in which their entire team lost only four games in nine sets.
In the Mixed Premier Division, Frinton A earned an impressive 8-1 home win over The Essex B.
Division One leaders Lexden Hill A sealed victories at Frinton B and Lexden R&F A while Frinton B and Colchester Officers’ Club A shared the spoils in a rare 4½-4½ draw.
Division Two table-toppers Wivenhoe A suffered a shock 6-3 reverse at Kirby B while Dedham B endured successive 6-3 defeats against Spring Lane A and The Essex C.
Lexden Hill B suffered 7-2 and 6½-2½ losses against West Mersea A and Lexden R&F B in Division Three, while Lexden Hill’s C team fell to Division Four defeats against Little Clacton, Frinton C and Kirby C.
