COLCHESTER racing duo Phil Seton and Mark Clark of Seton Tuning are hoping endurance success at Snetterton this weekend will propel them on to European glory in Belgium in August.

The pair have teamed up with London-based rider Rick Dickinson to put together a three-man team for the No Limits eight-hour endurance race at the Snetterton 300 race track in Norfolk on Saturday.

The team will be competing on race-prepared Seton Tuning Yamaha R1 1000cc machines in the non-stop eight-hour event, which is the only one of its kind in the UK this year.

The trio will use the entry as a pre-requisite to become eligible for the prestigious six-hour European Endurance race at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium in August.

Seton, who is from Fingringhoe, said “We are delighted to have this opportunity to team up with Rick and run a three-rider team in the only eight-hour endurance race in the UK this year.

"We competed in the No Limits Endurance championship last year and took the championship win, so we know that we can be very competitive at this race.

"A good showing at this event will enable us to earn an entry into the European Endurance Championship round at Spa in Belgium, that will be

the real test of just how competitive we can be at European level.”
