SIX swimmers from Colchester Phoenix Amateur Swimming Club were all victorious at this year's East Midlands Regional Inclusive Disability Meet in Leicester.
The swimmers, who train at Colchester Leisure World and the Garrison pool, swum to victory after achieving a total of 16 medals between them.
Team captain Sam Inman said: “The meet was gruelling but very competitive.
"It gave the Phoenix swimmers the opportunity to show their true competitive spirit."
The gruelling event, which attracted disability swimmers from all over the UK, gave the Phoenix swimmers the opportunity to achieved personal best (PB) times in their individual events.
Inman, veteran swimmer Darren Swash, Chloe Scott, Aaron Dadd, Holly Bocking and newcomer Thomas Banes competed in a total of 26 individuals events and four relay team events.
