THE Baddow Ten is a firm favourite for many Witham Running Club members and it proved a big draw again this year.

Mark Finbow is back running in Witham colours and with the benefit of his marathon training, he raced round to be the club's lead runner home in 14th place overall in one hour one minute 34 seconds.

There was great grouping behind him, suggesting some close battles between Chris Martin and Heydon Mizon, David Hunt and Pete Riley and Andy Lager and Steve Watson.

Vicky Hunt was Witham's first lady to finish and wasn’t too far away from gaining another club record as she finished in 1h 13m 47s..

Despite suggesting she wouldn't be competing at Baddow, Shelley Enders took more than two minutes off the time she set at Stebbing six months ago as she finished in 1h 19m 12s to take the female V45 trophy by eight seconds from the next person in her category.
