Halstead Swimming Club had four swimmers making finals at the Essex Age Group Championships at the London Aquatic Centre.
Lewis Craig finished tenth in the boys’ 16-years 50 metre breaststroke, while Jodie Root took sixth spot in the girls’ 15-years 50m breaststroke.
Molly Gerrard was also sixth in the girls’ 12-years 50m freestyle and Eloise Conway had a trip of top-ten finishes in the girls’ 15-years category with seventh in the 100m backstroke, eighth in the 50m backstroke and eighth in the 200m freestyle.
Meanwhile, the club is holding a free come and try session for potential new members.
They are particularly keen to attract new boys and the session will take place at Halstead Leisure Centre between 3pm and 5pm on Saturday, February 20.
It is open to swimmers who can complete at least 25 metres and anyone interested should email christinasouthgate21@gmail.com or call 07759 191488 to be given a time slot.
