HARWICH and Dovercourt Rugby Club’s mini and youth teams are ready to kick-off the new season.
The club are holding their player registration day this Sunday, starting at 10.30am.
The mini and youth section had another fantastic year last season and offer a safe, family friendly atmosphere for children to participate in rugby.
There is a gradual introduction to the sport, with school years two and three playing mini tag rugby, school years four to seven playing mini rugby and from school years eight upwards its youth rugby.
Players are coached to participate with teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.
All playing abilities are welcome, both boys and girls, aged six upwards, with regular training and matches on Sunday mornings.
There is no initial commitment and low membership fees for anyone wishing to sign up.
