FC CLACTON suffered a 2-0 defeat in tonight's Thurlow Nunn League premier division contest at Ipswich Wanderers.
Both goals came inside the first 25 minutes.
Aaron Condon hit a post towards the end of the first half and, despite a much-improved second-half display, Clacton were unable to break down the Suffolk side.
The Seasiders' next match is their FA Vase first qualifying round tie at home to Stansted on Saturday.
