GREAT Bentley Running Club members competed in a Parkrun at Colchester.
Lee Clarkson crossed the finish line just ahead of Scott Young, in 24 minutes and 17 seconds and 24m 28s respectively.
Paul Hollidge kept his forthcoming marathon legs ticking over with a time of 26m 12s, while Bee Palmer-Barnes finished in 29m 10s.
Bungay Black Dog Running Club hosted their marathon and half-marathon.
Sam Godden was the only Bentley runner to take on the full distance – a two-loop route taking in the scenic Waveney Valley.
She ran a truly fantastic and inspirational race to come home in 3h 39m 33s.
This was a new personal best (PB) by 20 minutes.
She also achieved a silver club standard and ninth position in Bentley’s top-ten all-time performance list.
Racing in the half-marathon were Natalie Stewart (1h 56m 5s) and John Bush (2h 15m 1s).
