After Colnes Angling Society’s successful work parties improved swims and access around Pebmarsh Lake last weekend, it is the turn of Domsey Reservoir this coming weekend.
The water will be closed for fishing today as well as on Saturday and Sunday, when the banks around the reservoir will be widened to make it both safer and more comfortable for anglers to sit and fish.
For this work to be carried out, all the banks need to have the bushes and undergrowth significantly cut back and a lot of volunteers are being requested for all three days with a start time of 8am each day. However, anyone who can turn up at any time will be welcomed.
