Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire admits he has a decision to make.
Following the disappointment of last weekend’s 3-1 Vanarama Conference Premier defeat by Chester, the Iron boss told the Times he is looking hard at whether he needs to augment his squad at the moment or wait until the January transfer window.
It is a decision that needs to be made and while the exact details of his thinking stayed on the cards close to the Braintree boss’ chest, he did say he has some thinking to do.
However, he won’t make any moves ahead of this Saturday’s trip to Lincoln City or Bank Holiday Monday’s home game against Nuneaton (kick-off 3pm).
He said: “Nothing will happen until after Monday, but I’ve got a decision to make.
“I have been after someone for a while now and it depends on whether I want to do something now or maybe wait until January.
“We’ll have to wait and see.”
