Bean to stake a claim for U's starting spot
Marcus Bean will today stake his claim to be in Colchester United’s starting line-up for this weekend’s big kick-off.
The experienced midfielder is expected to feature in the U’s behind-closed-doors friendly with Southend United.
Bean said: “I want to be in the manager’s thoughts for Saturday."
