James Mulley will be back at Braintree Town next season.
It had been uncertain over the summer whether the former AFC Wimbledon midfielder would return to the Iron for a third season, but manager Alan Devonshire has confirmed that Mulley, who has made almost 80 appearances and scored six goals for Braintree, has now re-signed.
He is joined by Matt Paine and Ryan Peters, who have also both signed on again this week as the squad returned to training ahead of their opening pre-season fixtures on July 12.
