CLINICAL Witham Town put their title anguish behind them to book their place in next season’s Ryman Premier, courtesy of an emphatic 3-0 success against Harlow in today's play-off final at the Village Glass Stadium.
Garry Kimble’s side missed out on the division one north championship on the final day of the regular season, after finishing just a point behind top dogs VCD Athletic.
But rather than letting their fantastic season fizzle out amid heartache and anti-climax, they responded in the best possible fashion.
After beating Needham Market in their play-off semi-final last Tuesday, Witham cemented their promotion thanks to first-half goals from Seb Murfet and Lee Townrow and a late third from substitute Shami Pedula.
