Police are appealing for information following a knife-point robbery at a shop in Southend at around 9.15pm on Monday, April 16

Two men with their faces covered with scarves entered East Street convenience store and held a knife to a member a staff before making demands. 

The men, who wore black clothing and balaclavas, then left with a two-figure sum of cash, cigarettes and alcohol before running from the scene.

The victim suffered a small cut to his ear and did not require hospital treatment.
