Students from a secondary school have organised a fundraising event to help raise cash and awareness about heart issues in young people.
The King Edmund School’s Year 12 hospitality students held an Afternoon Tea in Wonderland event in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
The event was a huge success and students worked very hard to make it an enjoyable afternoon for all the staff involved.
A spokesman for the school, in Rochford, said: “The students were a real credit to the school. In total they raised just under £200 for the charity.”
