A man has died after going into cardiac arrest.
The ambulance service sent two ambulances and two rapid response vehicles to Saxon Gardens, in Southend, just before 6pm last night to reports of a man who wan't breathing.
On arrival, they found the man, who was in his 60s, was in cardiac arrest.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "Sadly despite his best efforts of the crews he died at the scene.
"Our thoughts go out to his friends and family."
