Man "slashed in the arm" in attempted robbery
A man was slashed in the arm with an unknown object following an attempted robbery.
The victim was cycling up an alleyway, between Cranes Farm Road and Church Road at about 6.30pm on Thursday, February 23.
He was assaulted by two men who were around 5ft 8in tall when they walked out in front of him from the bushes.
The suspects blocked the victim’s path and told him to hand over his phone and bike. When the victim said no he was grabbed by the arm by one suspect and slashed in the arm with an unknown object.
The two suspects fled on foot down Cranes Farm Road.
