Nevendon Road in Wickford was closed between the BP garage and the A127 following a crash.

National Grid workers have been at the scene to repair damage to a gas pipe.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Officers were called by the ambulance service at around 3.25pm yesterday to Nevendon Road.
