A MOTORCYCLIST was treated by firefighters after a crash involving a lorry on the A127.
The incident happened on the London-bound carriageway at the Fairglen Interchange at about 7.00am on Tuesday.
Fire crews from Basildon, Rayleigh Weir and Hawkwell attended the crash.
A fire serice spokesman said: "Firefighters gave oxygen therapy and first aid to a motorcylist who had been involved in an RTC with a lorry.
"The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service by 07:20hrs."
The crash caused delays for motorists until the scene was cleared at about 8.30am.
