AN OPTICIANS has raised vital funds for a hospice during a week-long event.
Specsavers, in Town Square, Basildon, hosted in-store games, raffles, and a series of giveaways to raise £238 in total for St Lukes, in Basildon.
Store director Lee Hansford said: "I am immensely proud of the team for all the hard work they have put in to make this fundraiser a roaring success.
"I would also like to thank our local residents for joining us this week and digging deep for a cause that is close to all our hearts. We are over-whelmed with the donations we have received!"
St Luke’s Hospice aims to provide a caring and homely environment for people with life limiting illnesses and their families.
