Burglars stole shotgun from gun cabinet in Wickford home
Burglars stole a shotgun and pickaxe from a gun cabinet after raiding a house in Wickford.
The home in Grange Road was burgled between 9am and 12.30pm on Monday, January 25.
The thieves forced open a garden shed and removed a pickaxe.
They then used the pickaxe to get into the conservatory before they ransacked the house.
A gun cabinet was forced open and a licensed Beretta 687 12G shot gun was stolen, as well as jewellery and cash.
