DAVID Tennant is the latest celebrity guest to join TV stars Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty on Southend Pier.
The former Dr Who star joined the film crew which have attracted an enthusiastic reponse on Twitter.
The chef returned to Southend Pier on Wednesday to begin for his next Channel 4 series of Friday Night Feast.
He was joined by Jimmy Doherty as the pair team up again for the third series of their hit show.
Their show has become famous for welcoming a celebrity to the pier to rustle up a feast and radio presenter Fearne Cotton was spotted at the location earlier in the week.

Both Jamie and Jimmy tweeted excitedly about filming beginning.
The star chef was listening to Chris Moyles on his journey to Southend and Tweeted: “Morning @ChrisMoyles @RadioX loving the new radio show boy, make sure you get a good breakfast. I'm driving to Southend Friday night feasts.”
