OWLS at a bird centre have shot to internet fame overnight.

Mollie King, operational manager at the Imperial Bird of Prey Academy on Barleylands Road, Billericay, uploaded a parody video to Facebook.

Mollie, 22, made the video called Owls every Weekend after seeing another video using the David Zowie song House every Weekend.

After finding the video funny she put her own video together in five minutes and could not believe how quickly the video spread.

It got shared by the Facebook page The LAD Bible where it has had over 1.3million views in less than a day.

The video has already been used as promotions for night clubs on twitter and Owls at the weekend has been suggested to be the new chant for Sheffield Wednesday who are known as the owls.

The stars of the video are Duke the White Faced owl and newly named Baby Bubo the Eurasian Eagle Owl, who both appear to be dancing in the video and are popular on experience days with their cute looks.

Mollie said: “It’s been really exciting. I was on my phone until two o’clock this morning watching how many views it’s had."

She added “I made it on The LAD Bible. That’s a tick off my bucket list”.
