Emergency services are at the scene of a crash in Pitsea, believed to be between a bus and a motorbike.
High Road is currently blocked and police and ambulance crews are at the scene.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene shortly after 3.30pm.
A service spokesman said: "An ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle and ambulance officer attended.
"They treated a man who had suffered a leg injury and was taken to Basildon Hospital for further treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or serious."
