Thespians – the Young Shakespeare Company with West Leigh Junior pupils
PUPILS enjoyed their first taste of Shakespeare with a performance of Hamlet.
The Young Shakespeare Company wowed youngsters at West Leigh Junior School, Leigh, with their version of the play. Year 6 pupil, Sam Galforg, who played Horatio in the Shakespeare Schools Festival, delivered the last line of the play.
Kathy O’Donnell, head of English, said: “The children were completely mesmerised seeing the performances."
