RESIDENTS have the chance to raise crime concerns with Essex Police and Crime Commissioner Nick Alston.
He will discuss local crime and community safety issues in Southend on Thursday January 8.
The meeting is taking place at The Chase High School in Prittlewell Chase, Westcliff. It will begin at 6.30pm and will see crime trends and figures for the area discussed as well as key other local issues of concern.
The public will also be given the chance to ask their questions of PCC Nick Alston and Southend’s District Commander Chief Insp Simon Anslow, who will also speak about what actions are being taken by local officers to keep the area safe.
Ahead of the meeting, Nick Alston will hold his new PCC surgeries between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, enabling members of the public to have a one-to-one conversation with him if they would prefer this to speaking in public at the later meeting.
