A PUB has reopened following a £150,000 transformation.
The Victory Inn, in Ashingdon Road, Rochford, which is owned by Spirit Pub Company, has been given a lighter colour scheme, along with some new furniture and contemporary fixtures. The bar area has also been revamped to provide a bigger, brighter space.
Claire Ellerby, general manager, said: “Rochford is a fantastic town and the Victory Inn is at the heart of this community. We are thrilled to be offering our regulars and new guests a fresh new Victory Inn where they can socialise, eat freshly-cooked food and enjoy a drink.”
The pub organised a 24-hour charity static bike ride on Saturday to raise money for Kerry Waters, from Ashingdon, who lost her leg in a motorcycle accident.
All funds raised will go towards a prosthetic leg for Kerry.
