Family homeless after early morning blaze
A FAMILY has been made homeless after a blaze in their flat.
Firefighters rushed to Great Gregorie, in Lee Chapel, after reports a flat was on fire at 1.27am.
When they arrived they found the roof was completely alight and the fire was spreading to a nearby house.
Residents were evacuated and no one was hurt.
The fire was put out by 3.10am.
The owners of the flat have been left homeless.
Essex Fire is carrying out an investigation into the blaze.
