A SUPERMARKET has ploughed £50,000 into improving its facilities for parents.
The baby-change areas at Morrisons, in Northwick Park, Canvey, have been redesigned to create a more comfortable and convenient environment.
The new open plan layout provides space for larger prams and buggies and there are now baby feeding chairs available.
The customer toilets have also undergone a major refurbishment.
Visitors are set to benefit from new toilets, cubicles and sinks.
Revamped vanity units, mirrors, and brighter lights have also helped improve the space.
Mark Easton, store manager, said: “We have made a significant investment in our store’s facilities.
We hope mums, dads and regular customers will agree the improvements have been transformational.
“We expect it will result in an easier and more pleasant shop for everyone who visits our store.”
The work is part of a major investment programme by Morrisons to make shopping trips easier for its customers across the country.
The project includes the redesigning of stores, the extension of opening hours, new car park rules and the removal of trolley lock facilities.
