A TASTY evening of fine ale, wine and spirit is coming to Promenade Park.
The Grape, Grain and Gourmet evening will feature talks from Roger Protz, editor of the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and author of more than 20 books about beer and brewing. Campaigner and broadcaster who regularly appears on radio and TV and contributes to the Independent and the Morning Advertiser.
Jane Mohan, producer of award-winning wines from West Street Vineyard in Coggeshall, will also be attending, as well as Jill Lawrence, from the trend setting English Spirit, which was one of the first UK distilleries to produce their own vodka; the first to make their own rum from scratch and the only UK distillery to make Sambuca.
Tickets include a minimum of eight tastings and free parking. Food will be available to buy on the day.
There will also be a bar and stalls offering beer, wine and spirits. Tickets are £25.
The evening begins next Thursday at 7pm.
