The vocal talents of the town’s operatic society serve-up a delicious cocktail of hit musical tunes and popular numbers, all based on the seven deadly sins.

The serenely captivating chanteuse has been enrapturing audiences for more than 20 years. Alongside a selection of favourites from her previous releases, Cara will be performing material from her new album Wanderer, recorded with husband Sam Lakeman.

Direct from the US, William Hicks celebrates the legend of the Walrus of Love, Mr Barry White. With his talented orchestra Soul Unlimited and supported by female trio the Supreme Dreamgirls enjoy the hits of Motown as well as soul classics such as First Last Everything, and Just the Way You Are.

5. Boxted Airfield buildings exhibition, Boxted Airfield Museum, Langham Lane, Langham, Sunday, 10am. £3. 07503 952354.

It’s the final event in the commemoration of the airfield’s 75th anniversary with one more chance to enjoy an exhibition of the airfield buildings and their uses. With funding from the Heritage Lottery, and with most of the buildings on private property, this is the perfect way to re-capture the World War II airfield in their new display hall.
