IT’S time to wrap up in your winter hats and take part in a festive seafront walk.
The Christmas Hat Walk, which is being run by Get Moving Harwich Walking Group, is taking place on Monday.
The group, started by Community Voluntary Services Tendring, meets on a Monday at 12.45pm in the car park at Harwich and Dovercourt Ruby Club and walks along the promenade and back for about 45 minutes.
The group cover about 2.5 miles each Monday whilst chatting and socialising, making new friends.
Matt Rozier, Community Voluntary Services Tendring community development officer, said: “The walk is accessible to everyone and is a great way to start becoming more active. It’s free and on the doorstep with plenty of fresh air and company at the same time.”
If you would like to join the walk just turn up at 12.40pm on Monday or contact the HILL team at hill@cvstendring.org.uk or 01255 425692 for more information.
