A CRASH left a person trapped in a car near Maldon.
Essex Fire Service attended the two vehicle crash at around 2.57pm on the roundabout which connects Maldon Road and Wycke Hill.
A spokesman for the service confirmed that crews worked with paramedics to free one casualty from their vehicle.
They were released by 3.30pm and left in the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We received an emergency 999 call to Wycke Hill on the A414 on October 18 for a road traffic collision involving multiple vehicles.
"An ambulance and an ambulance car were sent. At least one patient has been conveyed to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment, however their condition is not life threatening."
