Fish and chip shop to make way for Chinese restaurant
A FISH and chip shop is set to be turned into Chinese restaurant creating six jobs.
The plans for the site in Pier Avenue, Clacton, including creating a marquee-style structure at the back of the building to accommodate 30 to 40 people.
The structure will be a covered seating area which will be in addition to the seating in the front of the shop.
Tendring Council approved the application as an “enhancement to facilities which would be unlikely to cause any disturbance or loss of amenity for those living in nearby flats”.
