CYCLISTS toured 20 miles of countryside in an annual fundraising pub crawl for the Essex Air Ambulance.
The Tour de Taverns, which starts and finishes at Ye Olde Cherry Tree in Little Oakley, was held on Sunday.
Cyclists did completed the 20-mile route stopping at pubs on the way, including The Castle in Ramsey, The Village Maid in Bradfield and The Bricklayers in Little Bentley.
Pubgoer Richard Griggs, who took part, said: “The riders, enjoying the better than expected weather, set out on the 20 mile ride. Sponsorship money has been pledged to both individual riders and the team as a whole with money also collected from customers at the pubs visited along the route.
“It is hoped that the total amount raised at the pub for the Essex Air Ambulance will be well in excess of £1,000.”
