CHANGES have been made to a number of cabinet roles and responsibilities at Tendring Council.
Three of the portfolio holder titles have been amended to reflect the changes made by leader Neil Stock.
Carlo Guglielmi is now cabinet member for resources and corporate services and the role will see him take on legal services, human resources and business management, committee services, as well as management and members’ support.
Lynda McWilliams, cabinet member for leisure and partnerships, will now also be responsible for corporate enforcement and community safety.
Nick Turner’s new title is cabinet member for commercialisation, seafronts and parking.
There is no change of title for Paul Honeywood, who is still cabinet member for housing, but his responsibilities now include revenues and benefits.
The total number of cabinet members, including the leader, has fallen to eight following the death of John Hughes and resignation of Tom Howard.
It is not yet known whether they will be replaced.
Opposition councillors previously called for the cabinet's size to be cut in a bid to save cash.
