CREATIVE sparks will be rocketing into Maldon as one of the UK’s most respected singer-songwriters returns to the town with an acoustic mix of songs.

Charlie Dore will be joined by long time musical collaborator Julian Littman to play an eclectic acoustic mix of songs, with multi-instrumental ability and lighthearted repartee bringing wit and raillery between story and song.

Her songs have won two Ascap awards as well as the Folk Prize from the International Acoustic Music Awards.

She is known for her bittersweet and subversive lyrics with success across many genres, with a range of big artists covering her songs including Celine Dion, Status Quo and Tina Turner.

Julian Littman is a musician, composer and singer-songwriter and Steeleye Span lead guitarist.

He has played and performed with artists from Gerry Rafferty and Dexy's Midnight Runners to Sister Sledge and Phillip Bailey. He has also appeared in an abundance of TV & Film roles including London Boulevard.
