Essex Fire: Late night call to abandonned car on fire
FIREFIGHTERS were called to an abandonned blazing car at Tolleshunt Major, just before midnight on Friday.
One crew and engine from Tollesbury turned up to the fire on Witham Road around 11.30pm.
The car had been abandonned in a field, said Essex Fire and Rescue.
Crew used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire by 23:57hrs.
Police have been informed.
