POP superstar Ed Sheeran was spotted feeding the lemurs and taking selfies with fans during a visit to Colchester Zoo.
The Thinking Out Loud singer was at the zoo to celebrate his goddaughter Tyler’s fourth birthday.
He was dressed in a Colchester Zoo branded polo neck and baseball cap.
Jade Auty, 16, who works in the zoo’s cafe, said: “I was really shocked when my supervisor said he was coming in.
“I think he’s amazing. It was so surreal.
“He seemed really lovely. He actually seemed quite shy.”
Daisy Gadd, 21, who was visiting the Zoo from Kent, said: “He was in the lemur enclosure feeding them.
“He had a couple of young fans with him and he was taking a few selfies with the animals and with the young fans.
“He was dressed in the staff uniform and a hat to hide himself so there wasn't a massive crowd around him.”
After his visit the Brit Award winner tweeted: “Thanks to all the staff at Colchester zoo who made Tyler's 4th birthday amazing”.
