Creative pupils have unveiled a colourful planter in Maldon High Street.
Youngsters from Plume School made the planter themselves after measuring up the area at the top end of the High Street.
They also designed plaques to adorn it and chose plants from the Emporium to go in it, which were donated by the shop free of charge.
Jennifer Eva, who is an environment officer at Maldon Town Council and also works with Maldon In Bloom, said: “It really brightens up that area."
