Generous young rugby players gave goodies to children in hospital.
Members of the Burnham Rugby Club Under 10s squad delighted youngsters on the Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, by bringing in Easter goodies for them last Thursday.
Anne Churchill, who helps out at the rugby club, said: “We spent two hours with the staff and sick children, who were delighted with the small gifts we brought with us.
“When we left the ward the children had huge smiles on their faces and the staff were most appreciative of our visit to cheer up the poorly children.”
