A MANIFESTO for Tendring. That’s what we are asking readers to help put together, setting out our challenge to politicians at Westminster for the next five years.

We hope a General Election manifesto for Tendring will outline the concerns and opportunities our readers think should be high on the minds of the party leaders and the candidates seeking your vote at the General Election on May 7.

We want suggestions from Gazette readers, and readers of our sister paper the Harwich and Manningtree Standard, about what you would like to see in the manifesto and what should be a priority for Tendring after the May election.

It could be helping businesses prosper, educating our youth, the care and wellbeing of our elderly, improving our hospital and GP services, better broadband in rural areas, dualling the A120, the number of homes to be built in Tendring...it is up to our readers to decide what goes in the manifesto.

Gazette editor Aynsley Davidson said: “Our manifesto will be apolitical and will aim to get the best deal for Tendring following the General Election.

“It’s important that we hold politicians to account, make sure pre-election promises are not forgotten after May 7 and keep Westminster minds firmly focussed on what Tendring residents want for their district."

You can send in your suggestions for what should be included in the Manifesto for Tendring in the following ways:
