How the wind turbine could have looked at Great Bentley
CONTROVERSIAL plans for a giant wind turbine on farmland in Great Bentley have been blocked.
RES UK put in a scheme for the site in Plough Road which has been rejected by Tendring Council.
The application for the 110m wind turbine was opposed by Great Bentley Parish Council and English Heritage.
The council also received 321 letters of objection and a petition signed by 1,164 people objecting to the proposal.
