GREEN-FINGERED judges have launched this year’s Anglia in Bloom campaign with a visit to a world-famous Essex garden.

Judges gathered at Beth Chatto Gardens, in Elmstead Market, to launch the 2015 regional campaign which will see six new trainee judges join the team.

The group rewards neighbourhoods, villages, towns and cities who make their environments a better place to live and work.

Brian Thornton, Anglia in Bloom president, said: “We don’t know what 2015 has in store for us, but what we do know is that a successful organisation is one that doesn’t let the grass grow under its feet and we pride ourselves on the fact we are progressive and listen to everything communities have to say.”

He also praised the trustees, judges and helpers for doing everything that “makes our campaign such a success”.

Campaign entry forms must be submitted by April 6. For more or downloads an entry form, go to angliainbloom.co.uk.
