DREAMS came true for budding actors as they put on a record-breaking show in front of packed Clacton audiences.
The cast, made up of more than 80 youngsters aged eight to 14, dazzled crowds with their performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Youth Theatre Performerz put on four shows of the world-famous production over three days at Clacton’s Princes Theatre.
It featured children from across Tendring, including youngsters who have previously appeared on stage professionally and complete novices.
Company director Melissa Wenn said they wanted to involve as many people from Tendring as possible in the shows.
“This is the biggest and youngest cast we have ever involved and they worked so hard,” she said.
“They grew in confidence with each performance and they thoroughly deserved their standing ovations.”
