Police in Wickham Bishops are appealing for information about a burglary in Witham Road where hundreds of pounds of cash was stolen.
Two men tricked their way into the house on January 28 at around mid-day and while the victim, an 81-year-old woman, was distracted, her purse containing cash was stolen.
The first suspect is described as a white man who called himself John.
He is around 5ft 10 tall, has a slim build with short dark hair.
The second suspect has short fair hair and is slightly shorter and broader than the first suspect.
There was a small white car derived van parked nearby that the men are believed to have used.
