A dramatic raid on a packed pub by more than 60 police officers led to two arrests.
The Standard accompanied officers on one of the busiest nights of the policing year to observe the raid on The Warwick Arms, Maldon High Street on Friday night.
Officers, dressed in protective clothing and wearing high visibility jackets, executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act as police believed people were supplying illegal drugs on the premises.
There were around 100 customers in the pub at the time of the raid.
