A DECISION on plans for more than 60 homes and a new football stadium in Holland- on-Sea has been delayed until the NewYear.

The proposals for a mini-football stadium and 65 bungalows on the disused Colchester Institute playing fields, off Gainsford Avenue, have received almost 100 objections.

The application was made in August, but a decision has still not been made, despite extensions in October, November and now until January.

The plans include a new pavilion and stand for Holland FC, an all-weather pitch, floodlighting and two training pitches, which would be used by the community.
