Cruel bogus callers target Kirby Cross woman aged in her 90s
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a distraction burglary in Kirby Cross.
A woman in her 90s was approached by two men outside her home in Baynards Crescent while she was in the garden.
They claimed they needed to check the water in the property.
After the men left, the victim realised her handbag containing bank cards and cash was missing.
Gold jewellery was also stolen.
The men are described as white, in their 20s and wearing jeans.
